
It comes to our attention that Irvine doesn't really have strong connections with his home Garden, Galbadia Garden, and in fact is the first one to suggest to ram the Galbadian Garden in the back. He knows the place like the back of his hand, as he has stated, and leads his team mates to destroy it. Maybe this is sign of Irvine trying to search for a better place to belong.
It's obvious that he knows the importance of their mission and knows how to put forth justice and the right thing to do over what he's wants.
