Laguna/ Some people do recognise that Selphie has a little crush on the father of Squall. To her he's cute, has a great personality and seems to have set goals. Maybe she can see a similar personality in her and laguna, or maybe she's just in love with his looks.

Irvine/ Irvine is her main love interest, even though it seems like Irvine is more interested in her than the other way around. Irvine flirts with her constantly, and even though he does the same with Rinoa and Quistis, it seems as if he holds a special place for Selphie in his heart. Ever since they were small, they were close, however due to the GF's memory loss, Selphie doesn't remember. Maybe this is why Irvine has a special feeling for her? However, at the end, it would seem that Selphie and Irvine are together because of their close bonds, and also some people just like to interpret it that way.
