history
As the other Final Fantasy VIII children, their history isn't simple and is a little traumatic. Zell lost his parents and became an orphan at a very early age. He was then taken into Edea and Cid Kramer's orphanage. There he played and became friends with Squall, Selphie, Quistis and Irvine.
He was the only child that was adopted by a family. He was adopted by Ma Dincht of Balamb. This is how he received his last name, Dincht which isn't his birth last name. He found a family full of love and was brought up in a prosperous life. This could have been the reason for his energetic personality
He entered Balamb Garden at the age of 14 and learnt to fight with his fists. His goal after entering the Garden was to become a SeeD.
