Squall; Squall gets highly irritated at Zell and their personality traits clash. However, as we progress through the game, Squall seems to be able to tolerate Zell, and even trust him with his precious ring. Rinoa; Zell and Rinoa seem to have a friendly relationship with each other, even though we don't actually see them interact as much as with the other characters. But Zell holds Rinoa in high regard, and helps her get Squall's ring. Selphie; Zell's first impression of Selphie is probably that of a bubbly hyperactive messenger girl that doesn't follow the rules, and does insane things. We can tell this from the second after we meet her. Zell whines to Squall whether or not to jump off the cliff. Quistis; Quistis is Zell's former teacher who thinks that Zell is... quite loud. She is the one that partnered Squall and Zell up together, maybe to increase both of their tolerences for different personalities. Irvine; Zell doesn't like Irvine that much, maybe it's because he's a mini pimp ^^; or maybe its because Irvine says things that pisses Zell off. Either way, Zell doesn't like Irvine, but Irvine doesn't really care. Seifer; Seifer never ever got along with Zell, even from when they were children at Edea's orphanage. Zell was always getting fired up by Seifer's comments, which probably egged Seifer on even more.
